According to a statistics report about Qingdao’s 20 largest IT enterprises in 2007 (QXCZ [2008] No.32) jointly released by the municipal information industry bureau and the municipal statistics bureau, Hisense Mobile Communications Technologies Co., Ltd ranked fourth in software revenue among the top 20 IT enterprises in Qingdao. This is the second consecutive year the company was among the top 10 software enterprises.

The company has achieved rapid development within the last three years with its powerful technical strength and effective quality assurance. It accumulated a lot of experience and development strength in the design and application of 2G, 2.5 and 3G terminal products. Meanwhile, the company substantially improved its ability to make innovations of technologies with proprietary rights through contracting national-class research and development projects. At present, the company owns a total of 233 patents, 64 inventions and 116 software copyrights.

This years’ reorganization tides among telecom enterprises in the country posed a great marketing challenge for the company. But that did not prevent the unyielding Hisense people from making progress toward the goal of a first-class international mobile solutions and service provider.
